Summary:
A Drop Count Associate performs the tasks of collecting Slot machines and table games drop boxes; counting and strapping currency contained in the drop boxes; and organizing other paperwork and entering data into a computer.
The associate must be detail oriented and comfortable following company policies, procedures and controls without question while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission, and Federal and State laws governing monetary transactions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Maintains a thorough, working knowledge of laws, rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission, as well as company policies, procedures and controls.
Ensures the integrity of all Soft Count transactions.
Actively participates in drop box collection process and counting money.
Completes all accounting and other required paperwork related to Poker, Slot and table games cash, voucher and coupon drops.
EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
High School diploma or (GED) required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the Employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The Employee is also regularly required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
The Employee is required to repetitively reach with hands and arms.
The Employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time.
Lifting of up to 20 pounds periodically.
The Employee is regularly required to push heavy carts.

The count room is an enclosed room without windows and restricted to authorized personnel only.
Works under constant video and audio surveillance.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
Scheduled hours start at 4 am.
Drop count attendants are required to remain in a locked Count room until all slot and table game currency has been counted, strapped, verified and transferred to the main bank.
